Aneurysm

The abnormal and permanent ballooning of a weak artery wall due to its weakened structure and the pressure of blood flow. The weakness may be a result of disease, injury, or a congenital defect. Aneurysms can exist for years without symptoms. They cannot be reversed, and therefore treatment is aimed at preventing them from becoming worse.

Take Baryta carbonica 6c, 1 a day for 1 month, to help tone and strengthen the arterial walls.

What else you can do

• Cut down on saturated fats (red meats and dairy products).
• Increase your intake of oily fish (sardines, herring, salmon).
• Sprinkle brewer's yeast on your food.
• Avoid salt.
• Gentle regular exercise, such as walking or swimming, is good for this condition. However, avoid going out in very cold weather, and stop exercising immediately if you feel any pain.
